![]() Someone makes it easier to start breaking rules and hides how/why/that it’s even a problem behind a pretty GUI and now you get a ton of people that barely have a grasp on what they’re doing using it and (although it applies less to this specific instance, but does with the overall explanation) instead of carefully pushing the rules and knowing how you’d potentially get caught, what the consequences could be, you get people doing whatever they want then freaking out when they get in trouble, they point the finger at whoever showed it to them, so on and so on up the chain till power comes down hard and everyone’s fucked. More people join in and now it’s more of a problem that the powers that be feel they need to intervene. Literally in all levels of society whether it’s legal levels or getting away with stuff at work or hell even back in school growing up, if one or a few people are doing something against the rules, they might get overlooked for awhile.
